O'Melveny Launches Associate Exchange Program with Mexican Firm

To raise O'Melveny's profile in Latin America and to better serve its clients' cross-border needs, the Firm has launched a novel associate exchange program with Mexico City-based Solorzano, Carvajal, Gonzalez and Perez-Correa ("Solcargo").

Eduardo Rivas will be the first OMM associate to participate in the program. He will start his three-month stint at Solcargo in October.

Solcargo associate Fernando Erana began his time at O'Melveny on July 2.

"Markets are changing, our clients' needs are changing, and we see this as a way of getting ahead of the curve," said O'Melveny partner Michael Camuñez.

"We are very excited about the opportunities that this program offers with respect to cross-training, increased ability to meet our clients' needs, and client development efforts," said O'Melveny counsel Francisco Flores, who is spearheading the exchange program.
