Adam Slutsky
Associate
Adam Slutsky is an associate in O’Melveny's New York office and a member of the Securities Litigation Practice. He re-joined O’Melveny in 2008 after clerking for the Honorable Peter K. Leisure in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York. Since then, Adam has focused on representing Bank of America in all litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings arising from its marketing and sales of auction-rate securities.
Illustrative Professional Experience
- Representing Bank of America as its nationwide coordinating counsel in all disputes arising out of illiquidity in the auction-rate securities market, including: (i) a putative securities class action and a derivative action, (ii) two putative antitrust class actions; and (iii) numerous individual federal lawsuits and FINRA arbitrations. In re Bank of Am. Corp. Auction Rate Sec. Mktg. Litig., MDL No. 09-2014 (N.D. Cal.), and related actions.
- Representing a live-entertainment and multi-media-production company in a breach-of-contract and First Amendment action arising out of a cancelled multi-day outdoor music festival.
