We know you want to hit the ground running, and we'll help you do just that.  Whether new lawyer or lateral, we'll provide you with a rapid integration into the fabric of the Firm.
  • In an initial one-on-one meeting with your work coordinator, you'll assess your professional strengths and goals.
  • You'll be paired with a mentor appropriate to your level to help navigate your new working environment.
  • A series of social events held in your honor will help foster personal connections within O'Melveny.  You can also take advantage of the “Take a Partner to Lunch” program, which encourages new lawyers to go to lunch with a partner of their choice. 
  • The integration experience culminates with a New Attorney/Lateral Training Retreat.

We have an extensive lateral partner integration program that streamlines and maximizes your transition and entrance experience.  Targeted networking and client relations support, a mentor/advisor accountable for contributing to your integration, and early and sustained contact all help you feel like a part of O'Melveny even before you arrive.
