We secured a crucial victory for a former employee of a financial institution imprisoned for his alleged role in a municipal bond bid-rigging scheme involving kickbacks to brokers. Convicted at trial and sentenced to three years in prison, our client was released after O’Melveny successfully convinced the Second Circuit to reverse the criminal conviction based on the core argument that prosecutors waited too long to file charges against our client and the government had, thus, exceeded the statute of limitations.
