Counsel

Jennifer DePalma is a counsel in O'Melveny's Silicon Valley and New York offices and a member of the Firm's Transactions Department. Her practice focuses on the representation of clients in the life sciences, device and biotechnology sectors as well as in the semiconductor and real estate industries.  She counsels public and private companies, as well as venture capital and private equity investors, on matters of securities, general corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity financing, PIPEs, public offerings, joint ventures, strategic alliances and intellectual property transactions. Jennifer also represents issuers, investors and institutions in entity formation, private placements, public offerings and other capital markets transactions.

Her professional experience includes serving as primary corporate counselor for a Nasdaq-listed life sciences company and a Nasdaq-listed semiconductor company; company- and investor-side representations in multiple biotech sector PIPE financing transactions; complex capital markets and M&A transactions; and representation of leading private equity and venture capital investors in financing transactions in the US and Asia.
