Margaret Chu Ikeya is a partner in O’Melveny’s Silicon Valley office and a member of the Technology Transactions practice.  Margaret represents a broad range of public and private technology companies across multiple technology sectors in domestic and cross border technology transactions. 

Margaret focuses her practice on technology related strategic alliances, licensing of key technology, research and development of new technology, and other technology related transactions such as distribution, service, OEM, marketing, manufacture and supply agreements.  She also counsels technology company clients with respect to intellectual property issues associated with financing transactions and the acquisition or divesture of businesses or assets.

Margaret has extensive experience in the following technology areas: semiconductor technology; hardware and software technologies relating to various high technology areas (e.g., network infrastructure, Internet related technologies, wireless technology, etc.); nanotechnology; and life sciences related technologies (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals and drug delivery systems).
