Mark Fairbairn is a partner in O’Melveny’s Hong Kong office and a member of the Firm’s Corporate Finance Practice.
Mark’s practice focuses on distressed and alternative investments, financial restructurings (including 'loan to own' transactions and rescue finance), as well as formal insolvency matters. Mark has acted on behalf of financial institutions in regard to substantial acquisition and bridge financing facilities. He has more than 18 years’ experience advising major US, European, and Asian investment banks, financial institutions, hedge and private equity investors, insolvency practitioners, turnaround specialists, steering committees, and public and private corporations on cutting-edge cross-border transactions across Asia.
Mark is regionally and internationally recognized for his leadership in the restructuring and finance arenas.
