Tristan Morales


Tristan Morales is an associate in O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office and a member of the Labor and Employment Practice.

Tristan counsels clients on labor-related litigation, arbitrations, and contract negotiations. This regularly involves representing airlines in matters arising under the Railway Labor Act (“RLA”).

Tristan also advises employers on issues that include wage and hour policies, independent contractors, volunteers and interns, and remote work.

Other representative matters include advising on:
  • Reviews of corporate and transactional matters by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”), Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”), Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (“CFIUS”), and Defense Security Service (“DSS”).
  • Compliance matters and innovation opportunities for companies in the agriculture, food, and health care industries.
  • Corporate crisis management.
  • Executive compensation.

Tristan maintains an active pro bono practice that includes regular participation in the D.C. Bar’s Small Business Legal Clinic.
