Bloomberg Law: O’Melveny Adds Private Equity Specialist Ike Chidi in California

O’Melveny has hired private equity specialist Ike Chidi as a corporate finance partner in its Century City office. Chidi advises private equity firms, lending institutions, and private and public companies on structuring, negotiating, and documenting financing transactions. “We’re delighted to have Ike aboard,” O’Melveny chair Bradley J. Butwin said. “His arrival is the latest demonstration of our commitment to providing our private equity clients with the best service as they drive growth in California and around the nation.” Chidi, who will help advance O’Melveny’s private equity practice, is the firm's 14th corporate lateral hire in 2021, in addition to nine litigation partners who joined it this year.
