O’Melveny partner and Diversity & Inclusion co-head Darin Snyder was named to the Daily Journal’s 2020 “Top Intellectual Property Lawyers” list, the publication reported in this article.

“During the past year, Snyder has worked on a case where the stakes were higher than usual—even by the seasoned litigator's standards,” the Daily Journal observed, referring to his efforts guiding JHL Biotech Inc. through litigation. “[The case] truly threatened the existence of the company,” Snyder told the publication.

In addition, the Daily Journal reported, Snyder spearheaded the firm’s adoption of a first-of-its-kind hiring tool developed by Pymetrics. “The technology allowed O'Melveny to reach a broader range of candidates because anyone can access the evaluation tool online,” the Daily Journal noted.
