Daily Journal: O’Melveny Awards $20,000 to 31 High School Students

O’Melveny’s Warren Christopher Scholarship Program awarded US$20,000 college scholarships to 31 high school students who suffered hardships during the pandemic. “We’re proud to provide crucial emergency support to our scholars — helping them find meaningful work, overcome financial challenges raised by remote learning, and address pressing housing and health care issues,” O’Melveny partner and Warren Christopher Scholarship committee chair Matt Kline said. 15 Los Angeles Unified School District students from the 2020 Scholarship Class and 16 from the 2021 Scholarship Class were honored at a ceremony at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The scholars were selected from a pool of 240 nominees who have demonstrated academic potential, community service, and financial need.
