Global Legal Chronicle: SK E&S’ US$400 Million Investment in REV Renewables

South-Korean based leader in clean energy solutions SK E&S announced an up to US$400 million investment in REV Renewables. The investment will aid in the expansion of REV’s renewable power and energy storage projects portfolio. SK E&S will receive ownership stake and a seat on REV’s board of directors as part of the deal. SK E&S is Korea’s “largest privately-owned liquefied natural gas player.” O’Melveny served as legal advisor to SK E&S with a team led by partner Daniel Kim and associate Hae-In Park, with support from senior counsel Hugh Hilliard, counsel Maria von Schack and associate Trevor Wysocki.
