Inframation News: Infra Bill Delivers Recognition to P3 Model

Inframation News spoke to O’Melveny partner Elizabeth Dubeck for its article about the bipartisan infrastructure bill’s projected impact on the P3 industry.

Dubeck told the publication that she believes the P3 industry will move quickly to pursue opportunities if the bill becomes law, given the pent-up demand from investors to back infrastructure. She expects that P3 projects are likely to come from municipalities seeking private partners and that private industry also will approach governments, creating opportunities in areas like roads, public transit, airports, and water projects. Dubeck also indicated that the prospect of oversight and regulation are unlikely to materially reduce investor demand.
