Law360: Biden Taps Obama Counterterror Chief To Lead DOJ Division

O’Melveny counsel John Dermody gave commentary to Law360 for the publication’s coverage of President Biden’s nomination of Matt Olsen to head the Department of Justice’s National Security Division.
Olsen’s decades-long career in public service includes 20 years with DOJ and positions with the FBI, NSA, and National Counterterrorism Center.
“That broad experience is going to be particularly important in tackling issues like ransomware and supply-chain security, which demand extensive coordination among government agencies and the development of sometimes novel solutions,” Dermody told the publication.
