O’Melveny is advising AFC Gamma, a real estate investment trust that finances cannabis ventures, in its US$100 million initial public offering.
AFC Gamma was founded in July and makes loans to cannabis companies. The article reported that as of December 26, 2020 the firm had made a total of US$92.5 million in loans to eight borrowers.
The O’Melveny team advising AFC Gamma includes partners C. Brophy Christensen and Jeeho Lee.
