O’Melveny’s Lash Co-Authors Law360 Piece on Pro Bono and Diversity

September 15, 2014 O'Melveny & Myers counsel David Lash co-authored the Law360 opinion piece, "Pro Bono May Help Diversity Recruiting Efforts."  The article discusses the intersection of diversity and pro bono programs and debates whether one truly impacts the other.  "Compelling opportunities for younger lawyers, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in litigation or transactional work, can often be provided through pro bono work," Lash writes, adding "[b]eing present in diverse communities through a robust pro bono program also sends a powerful message about a firm's values."

Lash serves as managing counsel of O’Melveny’s public interest and pro bono services.  He resides in the Firm’s Los Angeles and Century City offices.
