O’Melveny’s Yelizarov Interviewed About Life/Work Balance
October 14, 2015 The October 13, 2015, article, “Decisions of a Working Dad” includes a Q&A with O’Melveny & Myers associate Vladimir Yelizarov about his experience balancing law firm work, his pro bono endeavors, and his job as a father. Yelizarov, who also spoke on a panel discussion entitled “The Makings of a Family” for the 2015 Work Life Congress hosted by Working Mother magazine, details his experience at O’Melveny when he had a child 10 months after starting his legal career. “The firm took a special interest in helping me manage the competing demands of my career and parenthood,” Yelizarov said in the article. “In addition to approving my [four-week paid] paternity leave, they have paired me with a parental coach and encouraged me to work from home at least once a week.”Yelizarov is an associate in O’Melveny’s New York office and a member of the Project Development and Real Estate Practice.
