B. Riley Financial, Inc. and Targus Cayman HoldCo Limited announced that B. Riley Principal Investments, LLC has acquired Targus, a multinational company that designs, manufactures, and sells consumer and enterprise productivity products. The transaction was announced on October 19 and has an enterprise value of US$250 million. Targus CEO Mikel Williams has stepped down from B. Riley Financial’s board of directors in connection with the acquisition. O’Melveny & Myers LLP serves as legal advisor to Targus.
