Texas Lawyer: ‘Tremendous Uptick’: Lateral Partner Movement Surged in Texas in 2022

The Texas legal industry reported a record number of lateral partner moves last year with 351, which is a 31% increase from 2021. O’Melveny hired 13 Texas partners in 2022, including five corporate and tax partners from Locke Lord in Dallas and three corporate partners from Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Houston.
