Texas News Today: Biden Supreme Court Commission SPLIT On Adding More Justices – But Warn It Would Be ‘Partisan Move’

President Joe Biden’s commission to advise on possible reforms to the US Supreme Court is split on whether or not to add more justices, cautioning that it would be a “partisan” move. O’Melveny partner and former acting US Solicitor General Walter Dellinger is a member of the commission. The Douglas Maggs Emeritus Professor of Law at Duke University has argued 25 cases before the Supreme Court and has testified more than 30 time before congress. His work has been published in the Harvard Law Review, Yale Law Journal, and Duke Law Journal and is a recipient of Lifetime Achievement Awards from The American Lawyer, the American Constitution Society and the Mississippi Center for Justice.
