The Texas Lawbook: Capital Markets Pro Michelle Earley Jumps to O’Melveny

Michelle Earley, former co-chair of the capital markets practice and diversity and inclusion committee at Locke Lord, has joined O’Melveny as a partner in its Austin office. Earley is reuniting with former colleagues Whit Roberts, Jack Jacobsen, Jason Schumacher, Will Becker, and Chrissy Metcalf, who all joined O’Melveny from Locke Lord earlier this year. “Michelle is an outstanding lawyer with an abiding commitment to our values of excellence, leadership, and citizenship,” O’Melveny chair Bradley Butwin said. “Her experience guiding public companies though major transactions and market disclosures, and advising them on corporate governance, will be a great advantage to our clients.
