LOS ANGELES—May 30, 2023—O’Melveny Managing Counsel for Pro Bono and Public Interest Services David Lash has been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2023 list of “Top 100 Lawyers,” which recognizes the accomplishments of the region’s most impactful attorneys.
Additionally, the Los Angeles Business Journal presented Lash with the publication’s “Legal Excellence” specialty award.
In his award profile, the publication described Lash as the “architect and leader of one of the country’s finest pro bono programs” and noted his role in leading the effort to “use the law to preserve liberties, including civil rights, reproductive rights, housing rights and more.” The Los Angeles Business Journal also highlighted Lash's work this past year to produce and distribute the video Housing Justice Is Racial Justice to lawyers across Los Angeles County, urging them to represent tenants facing housing issues—and resulting in an increase in pro bono volunteer support.
