Paul Chan is an associate in O'Melveny's Hong Kong office and a member of the Capital Markets Practice within the Transactions Department. Paul’s practice focuses on commercial and corporate finance transactions, including initial public offerings, pre-IPO financing and corporate restructurings, regulatory and compliance issues for listed companies, corporate bond issues, mergers and acquisitions, and other general corporate and commercial matters.

Prior to joining O’Melveny, Paul was an associate in another international law firm.

  • Represented Wanguo International Mining Group Limited (Stock Code: 3939) on its HK$300 million (US$38.7 million) initial public offering on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • Represented Christine International Holdings Limited (Stock Code:1210), a leading bakery chain operator in the PRC, in its HK$400 million (US$51.28 million) initial public offering on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • Represented Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited and Bank of China Asia Limited as underwriters in the HK$859 million (US$110 million) initial public offering of Labixiaoxin Snacks Group Ltd. (Stock Code:1262) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • Represented UBS, Macquarie and J.P. Morgan as underwriters in the HK$6 billion (US$770 million) initial public offering of BBMG Corporation (Stock Code: 2009) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
  • Represented UBS and other underwriters in the HK$1.1 billion (US$140 million) initial public offering of China Outfitters Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 1146) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
