Lorenzo d’Aubert is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office. He focuses on cybersecurity and data privacy. Lorenzo provides counseling to businesses, including major online technology platforms, on compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, and other privacy laws. Additionally, he has worked for clients in matters involving antitrust, white collar, and labor and employment disputes.
Lorenzo devotes significant time to pro-bono clients. He works on behalf of an immigrants-rights nonprofit to challenge unfair immigration court practices as well as a client appealing his conviction for capital murder.
Prior to joining O’Melveny, Lorenzo graduated from Harvard Law School where he served as Senior Editor of the Harvard National Security Journal and Line Editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation and Harvard Journal of Law & Technology.
His professional experience includes serving as an extern to The Honorable James V. Selna in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and as an aide to U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill.
