O’Melveny Worldwide

Monsura Sirajee is a litigation counsel in O’Melveny’s Washington, DC office. Her experience includes representing companies across numerous industries, including pharmaceutical, entertainment, and financial services. Monsura has been a key member of the O’Melveny team in defending various clients in antitrust and class action litigation matters.

Before joining O’Melveny, Monsura worked as a Trial Attorney at the US Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where she investigated movie studio and telecom mergers and information sharing between broadcast television stations.

Monsura also maintains an active pro bono docket, and is currently representing families separated at the border.

  • Representing a multinational pharmaceutical company in lawsuits filed by the State Attorney General and various counties in the state of Texas arising from the marketing of opioids.
  • Representing a multinational pharmaceutical company in antitrust class action over its narcolepsy drug.
  • Representing a major film studio in pursing claims of executive poaching.
