Meeker to Discuss Future of Augmented Reality at ITechLaw’s 2017 India Conference

O’Melveny partner Heather Meeker will speak at ITechLaw’s 2017 India Conference in New Delhi on February 2, 2017. The conference will focus on how to balance policy and regulations to foster innovations in technology law, as well as the largest regulatory, commercial, and technology issues facing emerging and growth industries in Asia.

Meeker will present “Pokémon GO Was Just the Beginning – The Future of Augmented Reality” as part of the new media track, which will include other presentations on online hate crimes and digital advertising.

Based in O’Melveny’s Silicon Valley office, Meeker advises clients on technology transactions and intellectual property-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, with an emphasis on IT and software. She recently received the 2016 IP Vanguard Award by the State Bar of California’s IP Law Section.
