Xuan Zhang


Xuan Zhang is a counsel in O’Melveny’s Hong Kong office and a member of the firm’s Investment Funds and Securitization Practice. She focuses her practice primarily on the formation and operation of USD-denominated and RMB-denominated private investment funds, including buyout, infrastructure, mezzanine, real estate and venture capital funds, as well as hedge funds and fund-of-funds. She also has significant experience in advising clients on co-investments, internal carry arrangements and secondary transactions. In addition, Xuan is experienced in advising private fund sponsors on regulatory and compliance matters.

Her recent fund clients include Abax Global Capital, Adamas, China-ASEAN Investment Cooperation Fund, China Infrastructure Partners, Gaja Capital, Gaoling, Grandis, Mingxin, Fosun International, Qihoo 360, Shenzhen Fortune, Sailing Capital and Tiantu Capital, among others. She has also acted for sovereign wealth funds and fund-of-funds in connection with their investments into offshore investment funds. 

Prior to joining O'Melveny, Xuan was an associate in the Investment Management Group at a top-tier New York law firm, focusing on the formation and operation of private investment funds.
