O’Melveny represented MGM Studios in its acquisition of a 55 percent interest in Mark Burnett’s One Three Media and LightWorkers Media. The deal includes all of their interests in the blockbuster shows “Survivor,” “The Voice,” “Shark Tank,” “The Bible,” and “The Apprentice.” MGM will consolidate the assets and operations into a new media venture called United Artists Media Group (UAMG), which will develop, produce, and finance premium content.
