O’Melveny represented Laguna Beach, CA-based NextVR, an innovative technology company that broadcasts live events in virtual reality, in a Series B funding round, raising US$80 million from prominent Asian technology companies and investment funds, among other key investors. Investors included China Assets Ltd., CITIC Guoan Information Industry Co. Ltd., CMC Holdings, Founder H Fund, NetEase Inc., Softbank Corp., Spectrum 28, and VMS Investment Group.
