Bloomberg Law: Ex-Twitter Lawyer Cohen Joins O’Melveny & Myers as Partner

Former Twitter Inc. Deputy General Counsel Tod Cohen has joined O’Melveny as a partner in its Washington, DC office after nearly two decades in-house with technology companies. Cohen decided to return to private practice to focus on the complex legal matters corporations typically hand off to outside firms, this article reported.
“Data protection is one area where the outside counsel are the folks that are really involved,” Cohen told Bloomberg Law. “In my own practice, in many instances, we would send the best things outside.”
