Cheng Discusses US-China Judicial Cooperation on Fentanyl Crime

In an October 23, 2017, Chinese-language interview with the Voice of America, O’Melveny partner Ron Cheng discusses a case involving two Chinese nationals charged with fentanyl trafficking and the law-enforcement cooperation between China and the US in light of the absence of an extradition agreement between the two countries.

Cheng handles both anti-corruption and data security and privacy matters and is co-located in Hong Kong and Los Angeles. He is one of very few Mandarin-speaking attorneys with experience in both US and Chinese criminal law enforcement.
