Daily Journal: O’Melveny’s David R. Eberhart Named “Top Trade Secret Lawyer”

The Daily Journal has named O’Melveny partner David R. Eberhart to their 2021 list of “Top Trade Secret Lawyers.” The publication recognized Eberhart as “one of the firm’s most experienced trade secrets litigators for a roster of marquee clients, many of them confidential.” The Daily Journal also cited Eberhart’s success in defending JHL Biotech Inc. in a case against Genentech Inc., where he secured a more limited injunction than originally sought. “We showed that the scope of injunction they were seeking was not supported by the evidence,” Eberhart said. “Our client, the company, and its current CEO were not charged.”
