Four O’Melveny Partners Listed Among Top Women in White Collar by Corporate Crime Reporter

Corporate Crime Reporter’s “150 Women in White Collar” list includes O’Melveny partners Mary Patrice Brown, Sharon Bunzel, Carolyn Kubota, and Greta Lichtenbaum. The lists highlights top women lawyers who focus on white collar law.

Brown spent 23 years with the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the Department of Justice. She now serves as the firmwide co-chair of O’Melveny’s White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations Practice and resides in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Bunzel served as an Assistant US Attorney in the Northern District of California from 1999 to 2005, overseeing long-term, complex investigations and prosecuting large criminal organizations. She focuses on the representation of corporate and individual targets, defendants, witnesses, and victims in criminal and regulatory investigations and prosecutions, as well as related civil actions. She is based in O’Melveny’s San Francisco office.

Kubota focuses on civil and criminal trials, white collar criminal defense, and high stakes business litigation. She has extensive trial experience, including more than 20 jury and bench trials in state and federal courts, and remains undefeated at trial. Kubota resides in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office.

Lichtenbaum focuses her practice on compliance with US laws that govern international business transactions and trade. She represents and advises clients in matters related to US economic sanctions, export controls, anti-corruption, money laundering, antiboycott, foreign investment, and customs laws. She is based in the firm’s Washington, DC office.
