Houston Business Journal: Houston Chemical Co. Kraton to be Acquired in $2.5B Deal

Kraton, a Houston-based chemical company, has announced that it will be acquired by South Korean-based petrochemical company, DL Chemical, in a deal worth US$2.5 billion. The acquisition is expected to close by the first half of 2022 “following the receipt of stockholder and regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.” O’Melveny is legal counsel to DL Chemical in the transaction.
