ICLG: O’Melveny Nabs Manatt Entertainment Head

Veteran entertainment dealmaker Lindsay Conner has joined O’Melveny & Myers LLP as a partner in their entertainment, sports, and media group. Conner represented Huayi Brothers Media Corp., one of China’s largest privately-held film companies, in a three-year, 18-film co-financing and distribution contract with STX. O’Melveny’s entertainment, sports, and media group co-head Amy Siegel said Conner is a “proven advisor and a respected figure in the entertainment industry…[who] will be an immediate and invaluable resource.” O’Melveny firm chair Brad Butwin noted Conner’s “brand-name recognition in the entertainment industry” and “his tireless dedication to client service.”
