Intellectual Property Magazine: O’Melveny Adds USPTO Counsel in Washington DC

Multifaceted IP litigator and former USPTO advisor and vice chief judge William “Tim” Fink has joined O’Melveny as a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice.

O’Melveny chair Brad Butwin told Intellectual Property Magazine that Fink “shares our firm values” and “his impressive record of managing large teams and highly complex policy issues exemplifies his exceptional leadership qualities.”

O’Melveny’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice chair Ryan Yagura highlighted Fink’s wealth of experience as “a highly accomplished and versatile advisor,” which makes him an “invaluable asset to our clients on USPTO matters and increasingly complex PTAB petitions.” Yagura also noted that Fink is positioned “to help lead high-stakes patent litigation for major clients in district court and before the US ITC.”
