IP Frontline Notes O’Melveny’s Representation of Exar in Acquisition of Cadeka Microcircuits

On July 9, 2013, IP Frontline noted O’Melveny & Myers’ representation of Exar Corporation in its acquisition of Cadeka Microcircuits. According to the coverage, the transaction included US$29 million in initial consideration to be paid in a combination of cash and stock and an earn-out against net revenues contributed by Cadeka. The O’Melveny team was led by partner Paul Scrivano, along with associate Noah Kornblith. Scrivano is co-head of the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice in the United States, and resides in O’Melveny’s New York, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley offices. Kornblith is a member of the Transactions Department, and resides in the Firm’s San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices.
