Trade Secrets Guide Co-Authored by O’Melveny’s Snyder, Almeling Noted by IPKat Blog

November 05, 2012 Keeping Secrets: a Practical Introduction to Trade Secret Law and Strategy, a guide authored by O’Melveny & Myers partner Darin Snyder and counsel David Almeling, was recently recommended by The IPKat, a blog covering copyright, patent, trade mark, info-tech and privacy/confidentiality issues from a UK and European perspective. Published in June 2012 by Oxford University Press, the guide examines dozens of trade secret case studies and their lessons, and discusses best practices for protecting trade secrets from theft, investigating a suspected breach, and enforcing a trade secret in court and other forums.

Snyder is the chair of O’Melveny’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice in the Litigation Department, of which Almeling is also a member. Snyder and Almeling both reside in the Firm’s San Francisco office.
