Lash’s Bylined Article About Vital Role of Lawyers in Pro Bono Arena Recognized in Public Interest News Bulletin

October 14, 2011 O’Melveny & Myers managing counsel of the Firm’s public interest and pro bono services David Lash was recognized in the October 14, 2011, post in the Public Interest News Bulletin for a bylined article he authored earlier in the week about “the vital role of lawyers in providing access to justice at a time when more and more people fall into poverty.” Lash’s article “The Legal System’s Role in our War Against Poverty,” which was published in the October 10, 2011 issue of the Los Angeles Daily Journal, highlights the increasing amount of Californians living in poverty, noting how many more than those 16 percent who technically are above the poverty line, are hardly able to make ends meet.
