Law360: MVP: O’Melveny’s Molly Lens

O’Melveny partner Molly Lens was named by Law360 as one of its 2019 “Media & Entertainment MVPs.” In her profile, Lens discussed her biggest accomplishments and notable cases of 2019.

This year, Lens successfully reduced, by US$128 million, an arbitration award against Fox for profits tied to Bones, fought off a copyright infringement suit for the show Empire, and secured a victory for Fox in a gender discrimination suit, Law360 reported.

Lens began her career representing Wall Street banks and now advises media and entertainment clients on their most high-stakes matters, Law360 noted. “I started my career in New York, and obviously a big part of the city is focused around the financial sector,” said Lens. “So it was very exciting to be a part of that. I love immersing myself in legal issues that are central to the community I’m a part of.”
