Law360: Samsung Inks Deal To End Licensing Co.’s Patent Suits

US District Judge Rodney Gilstrap granted a joint motion to dismiss Daedalus Prime LLC’s infringement litigation against Samsung Electronics Co. Daedalus filed infringement claims against Samsung concerning 18 patents that “relate to groundbreaking improvements to microprocessor circuitry and mobile wireless, and have particular application in consumer electronics such as smartphones, tablets, and personal computers.” Samsung is represented by Timothy S. Durst, Marc Pensabene, Vincent Zhou, Nicholas Whilt, Ryan Yagura, Stacy Yae, Bo Moon, Laura Gore, Paige Hardy, Cason Cole, and Patric Reinbold of O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
