Los Angeles Times: Travis Scott’s Offer To Pay Funeral Expenses Rejected: ‘This Isn’t A Photo-Op Story’ Travis

Travis Scott’s offer to pay for the funeral costs of Ezra Blount, a nine year-old boy who died from injuries sustained at the rapper’s Astroworld Festival, has been denied by the Blount family. Scott’s attorney, Daniel Petrocelli, made an offer on the rapper’s behalf to pay for the boy’s funeral costs and said that its acceptance would “have no effect” on the family’s lawsuit against Scott. The lawsuit, seeking US$1 million in damages, is one of many filed against Scott, other Astroworld performers, and concert promoter Live Nation.
