May 22, 2017

Multiple media outlets, including Global Investigations Review and the Daily Journal, reported that Damali Taylor rejoined O’Melveny as a partner in the firm’s White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations Practice in San Francisco.

Before rejoining O’Melveny, Taylor spent six years as a federal prosecutor at the United States Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of California. Most recently, she served as the Deputy Chief of the Organized Crime Task Force Section. As a federal prosecutor, Taylor handled complex fraud, racketeering, money laundering, tax, and homicide cases. She received awards and commendations from the FBI for her outstanding prosecutorial skills. She also received the Unsung Heroes Award in recognition of her dedication to victims of crime.

“I bring a deep insider’s perspective on how to build an investigation and indict large cases,” Taylor told the Global Investigations in its May 22, 2017 story. “I can also build a bridge between law enforcement and the industries they investigate.”
