The Washington Post: Michael Dreeben, Supreme Court Lawyer Who Worked on Mueller Probe, Joins DC Law Firm

December 03, 2019

Former deputy solicitor general Michael Dreeban has joined O’Melveny as a partner, The Washington Post reported. In his new role, he will practice in both the appellate and white collar practices.

“Longtime deputy solicitor general Michael Dreeben, who has argued 105 cases before the Supreme Court and left the Justice Department after serving as part of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation team, is joining the Washington office of O’Melveny & Myers, the law firm announced Tuesday,” the article stated. “One of the draws at O’Melveny, Dreeben said, was the chance to be reunited with Walter Dellinger, a former acting solicitor general and one of Dreeben’s law professors at Duke.”
