Multiple Outlets Interview O’Melveny’s Petrocelli for OJ Simpson Trial Anniversary

October 14, 2015 O’Melveny & Myers partner Dan Petrocelli was featured in multiple publications and TV specials to mark the 20th anniversary of OJ Simpson’s famous “not guilty” verdict in his criminal trial for the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.  Petrocelli details his representation of Goldman’s family in a subsequent wrongful death lawsuit in 1997, in which OJ Simpson was found responsible for the deaths.  The documentaries include extensive interviews with Petrocelli and feature deposition tapes from the trial that show Simpson and other witnesses being questioned by Petrocelli.  His work on the case also was noted in multiple publications, including Los Angeles Times, People, and Daily News, among others.

The ABC20/20” episode on the trial aired on September 25, 2015; the LMN documentary, “The Secret Tapes of the OJ Case: The Untold Story,” premiered on September 30, 2015; and the A&E special, titled “OJ Speaks: The Hidden Tapes,” aired on October 1, 2015.

Petrocelli resides in O’Melveny’s Century City office and serves as chair of O’Melveny’s Trial Practice Committee.  He represents clients in major litigation in a wide variety of areas, including sports, entertainment, intellectual property, unfair competition, business torts, securities, employment law, and criminal defense.
