NBC News: USC President Max Nikias Steps Down Amid Fallout From Sex Abuse Scandal

University of Southern California President C.L. Max Nikias, has resigned following a letter signed by 200 professors accused him of being tone-deaf to the scandal involving Dr. George Tyndall. Nikias will become president emeritus and a life trustee of the University. O’Melveny was hired in May to conduct an independent investigation into the allegations. The investigations are ongoing.
