NLJ Covers Out in Law Second Annual LGBT Leadership Summit

April 22, 2015 The National Law Journal wrote this week about Out in Law’s Second Annual LGBT Leadership Summit, held April 20 at New York Law School.  The publication noted that more than 250 lawyers and LGBT advocates came together to talk about legal developments such as the upcoming US Supreme Court arguments over same-sex marriage as well as strategies to promote equality and engage on LGBT issues.  According to its press release, Out in Law engages senior leaders – LGBT and straight allies – across top national and international law firms, client companies, and the nonprofit sector on issues such as cultural change, recruitment, client development, business relationships, and how to maximize business impact in the law.  As part of its firmwide commitment to increasing diversity in the legal profession, O’Melveny & Myers LLP is proud to be a membership organization of Out in Law, with O’Melveny partner Andrew Parlen serving on the Out in Law Leadership Committee.  For more information, visit www.outleadership.org.
