O’Melveny associate Ephraim McDowell was quoted in this article discussing his major pro bono victory for members of a religious group who provided humanitarian aid to migrants in the desert along the US-Mexico border.

“I thought they had a viable legal theory to reverse the lower court’s convictions,” McDowell told the publication in an interview.
