O’Melveny-IDIA Internship Award Noted in Multiple Outlets

April 14, 2014 O’Melveny & Myers’ pledge to select one intern per year from a pool of law students volunteering for the Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA) initiative was noted in Legalweek, Legally India, and Bar & Bench.  As the coverage describes, O’Melveny will offer an expenses- and stipend-paid internship in its Singapore office to an IDIA team leader selected jointly by IDIA and the Firm.  The Legally India piece quotes counsel and India Practice coordinator Pooja Sinha regarding the program.  “O’Melveny has a longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion, and we hope to continue this legacy by fostering talent in India,” she said.  The Legalweek article also highlights the Firm’s Singapore office, noting its four core practice focuses: Indian capital markets, investment funds, banking and finance, and restructuring and insolvency.

Sinha resides in O’Melveny’s Singapore office and is a member of the Firm’s Capital Markets Practice.
