O'Melveny Lawyers Co-Author Article on Hong Kong IPO Strategies for Japanese Companies

O’Melveny & Myers LLP partner Mangyo Kinoshita, counsel Mark Chan, and associates Hiroshi Tomita and Philip Man co-authored the article, “Overseas IPO Strategies for Global Japanese Companies - Hong Kong,“ in Business Homu, a leading Japanese legal publication.

The article is the first installment in a four-part series by O’Melveny lawyers about IPOs in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States. The article gives an overview of current trends and conditions of the Hong Kong market, explains the Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing regime, and highlights the issues that Japanese companies are likely to face when listing in the Hong Kong market.

Kinoshita resides in the Firm's Tokyo office and is a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice.  Chan is a member of the Corporate Finance and Capital Markets Practice and resides in O'Melveny's Hong Kong and Singapore offices.  Tomita and Man are both members of the Corporate Finance and Capital Markets Practice and are based in Tokyo and Hong Kong, respectively.
